The on-again, off-again duo sure did look coupled up, though, in a new photo the Biebs posted on his Instagram pageSaturday night (and then promptly deleted).

In the snap, the “Boyfriend” crooner and Gomez are canoodling, with the Spring Breakers star holding back her hair as she leans in close to the super star singer.

Insiders told E! News, the “Come & Get It” singer flew to Norway Thursday to see Bieber and traveled with him to Copenhagen, where the Biebs performed Saturday night.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Hold Hands Backstage at Jingle Ball

Once again, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez made sure to steal away for some quality time while a party raged around them.

E! News has learned that the still awfully adorable duo arrived together and were seen holding hands backstage at KIIS-FM’s Jingle Ball in Los Angeles before Bieber—the two-night extravaganza’s designated closing act—was scheduled to go onstage at the Nokia Theatre. 

Aw, sweet.

“I see a lot a girls out there and I just want to know how many of you are single?” Bieber, who opened his set with “All Around the World,” tantalized the adoring audience when he finally hit the stage around 10:15 p.m. He also hiked up his T-shirt to flash the top of his boxers during “Baby,” that little rascal.

Due up before the “Boyfriend” singer?

That would be Ke$ha, the brazen pop star who joked to Rolling Stone that she wouldn’t mind bedding Bieber after a round of putt-putt golf and other teen-friendly activities.

Other acts slated for tonight who probably don’t annoy Gomez as much as Ke$ha includedPsy, fun., Flo Rida, The Wanted and Afrojack.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez appear to be giving it the old-school try.

A night after they were spotted arm-in-arm at an American Music Awards afterparty, the possibly reconciled duo ate at a Benihana in Encino, Calif.

They were with a group, mind you. But…still.

Unlike Friday night when they left an Encino sushi restaurant separately but equally agitated, Bieber and Gomez were careful not to be photographed together on their way in and out of the teppanyaki palace.

Tonight, Gomez held her hand in front of her face as the paparazzi took aim, while Bieber, who arrived in athletic shorts after a workout at an Equinox gym but left in black pants, walked to his car surrounded by an all-male entourage.

Gomez paid a visit to her doctor earlier today to get her throat checked out, a precautionary measure to make sure she hadn’t caught bronchitis from her step dad.

Justin Bieber may have taken his mother as his date to the American Music Awards, but by the end of the night Selena Gomez was by his side.

Although they spent much of their weekend fighting, Bieber, 18, and Gomez, 20, certainly looked like a happy couple at an afterparty at the JW Marriott Los Angeles on Sunday night. The “Baby” singer, wearing the same outfit he had on at the show (including those odd red studded loafers!), and the “Wizards of Waverly Place” actress, who was casually dressed in boots and jeans, arrived together at the bash.

She had her hand around his arm in a clear public display of affection.

The on-again couple stood side-by-side at the party while chatting with his mother, Pattie Mallette, who was Bieber’s official date at the award show earlier in the evening. Then they sat next to each other among a large group of friends and chatted casually.

Jenny McCarthy, who playfully tried to put the moves on Bieber during the AMAs, was also at the party and shared her Jelena sighting on Twitter. “My cub @justinbeiber brought his acceptable and beautifully aged beauty Selena to the AMA after party. Guess I’m back on the prowl. Rww!”

Later in the evening, Bieber went with Gomez to her L.A. home.

Things seem to be looking up for the couple. A week after splitting, they appeared to be trying to work out their woes during the week, spending time at Gomez’s house and arriving together at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. But a Friday night dinner date went off the rails — and Gomez left minutes after arriving. She then spent Saturday night with her best bud Taylor Swift, and seemed to be sending some kind of a message with the T-shirt she wore that said, “You make me happy when skies are gray.”

As for Bieber and Gomez’s off-again, on-again relationship status, a source close the couple told Us Weekly, “They are [young]. It changes from day to day. It’s hard to say how they will end up. … We’ll see.”

Because of his rocky relationship with Gomez, Bieber invited his 37-year-old mother to the American Music Awards on Sunday. (He asked her on Twitter!) During the show he picked up three awards, including Artist of the Year. When he gave his acceptance speech, he brought Mallette to the stage. “This is my mom,” he told the crowd. “She’s little but she’s beautiful.” Turning to Mallette, Bieber said, “I want to thank you for just always believing in me.”

So while his relationship with Gomez seems to change from day to day, Bieber can always count on his mom!

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez: The Aftermath of Their Dinner-Date Spat

Talk about a dinner date gone wrong.

After heading to the Laugh Factory comedy club together Thursday night, Justin Bieberand Selena Gomez were spotted back together again at Japanese restaurant Yamato in San Fernando Valley, Calif., Friday evening, a source told E! News.

But the outing was far from romantic.

According to the source, the former Wizards of Waverly Place star drove to the restaurant, and the Biebs showed up in his car a few minutes later.

“Something must have happened inside the restaurant, because 10 minutes after he arrived, they both stormed out looking stone-faced,” the source said. “They were very serious and did not look happy at all. She got in her car, and Justin got into his.

 

 

 

 

 

“Selena drove off and Justin just sat there for a few minutes. I think he was waiting for her to calm down. He then drove to her house. When he got there, he started buzzing her gate. But she was obviously not letting him in. He continued trying. Then, after a while he got out of his car, he was obviously frustrated and went up to the gate and started yelling ‘Selena’ over it. But…she was not coming out.”

“It was at this point [Justin] started to yell at the paps,” the source continued. “He was obviously annoyed that they were there and witnessing everything. He was mad. Selena then came out, because there was such a commotion, he got in his car and left.”

But, it appears that wasn’t the end of the couple’s tumultuous evening.

“Something must have happened overnight, though, because his car was there this morning.”

The couple first called it quits two weeks back, before reuniting a few days later in Los Angeles.

Selena Gomez was honored at Glamour‘s Women of the Year Awards Monday night in NYC, and boy, did she look amazing! The newly single singer-actress was all smiles at the event, stunning in a sexy white Giambattista Valli dress.

So how is Ms. Gomez holding up in the wake of the Jelena breakup news? The 20-year-oldWizards of Waverly Place starlet told E! News she’s “doing well” and really felt “so blessed” to be a part of Glamour’s event.

And as Selena was presented with the Independent Spirit award by Ethan Hawke, the Biebs was performing in Brooklyn. The “Boyfriend” singer even tweeted some sage advice he got from “a stranger [he] just met,” saying, “Life is short. It’s gonna be what it’s gonna be. As long as u put your best foot forward.”

Wise words that Justin—and Selena!—sure seem to be putting into practice.

Justin Bieber Talks Selena Gomez Breakup: “I Don’t Know What’s Going On in My Life”

Justin Bieber is talking about the end of his and Selena Gomez’s romance—sorta.

The “Boyfriend” pop star was asked about the breakup a few hours after E! News exclusively reported they had split.

“I don’t know what to say,” he said in an interview with the Open House Party radio show on Saturday, neither confirming nor denying the news. “I don’t know what’s going on in my life. To even assess that it doesn’t make sense ’cause I have not made any comment.”

Bieber laughed when the show’s host cracked that he could pull a Taylor Swift by singing about it.

Both Gomez and Bieber are now in the NYC area. The former Wizards of Waverly Placestarlet was spotted at LAX yesterday catching a flight there while Bieber has a concert tomorrow at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have gone their separate ways.

They broke up about a week ago, a source exclusively tells E! News.

“Because of their crazy schedules, it was getting harder and harder to maintain a relationship,” the source says.

Rumors that the adorable twosome had split started gaining traction in the last couple of weeks, but hit a high note just last night when Bieber, 18, was spotted seeing The Lion King on Broadway with a group of people that included 19-year-old Victoria’s Secret modelBarbara Palvin.

Gomez, 20, and the Biebs went public with their romance in February 2011 when they attended the Vanity Fair Oscar party together.

“I am happy,” she told us a few months later about their romance. “I’m really happy.”

No surprise, but many rabid Bieber fans have had it in for Gomez since day one, frequently attacking her via the Internet.

“It hurts, it really does,” she once told Z100 radio in NYC. “I don’t feel like I’m doing anything wrong. I’ve been best friends with him for a very long time. It does hurt my feelings a lot, but I try not to focus on it.”

Here’s hoping they can still be friends.

 

 

President Obama election-night tweet retweeted more than Justin Bieber’s tweet

A photo of President Barack Obama hugging first lady Michelle Obama tweeted by the Obama campaign on election night has been retweeted nearly half a million times, likely making it the most shared tweet of all time. The tweet–issued shortly before Obama was projected by several networks to be the winner of Ohio–included the image under the caption, “Four more years.”

According to AllTwitter.com, the most popular Twitter message before Tuesday was a tweet by Justin Bieber for Avalanna Routh, a six-year-old fan of the pop star who died of cancer.

“RIP Avalanna,” Bieber wrote on Sept. 12.”i love you.”

While President Obama’s Twitter feed technically now holds the most popular tweet of all-time, Obama himself does not. Personal tweets from the president are signed “-bo,” like the tweet, published several minutes before the photo, thanking his supporters. It read: “We’re all in this together. That’s how we campaigned, and that’s who we are. Thank you. -bo”

That tweet was retweeted more than 141,000 times.

 

Lady Gaga vomits four times during performance in Spain

The show must go on. During a concert in Barcelona, Spain, on Saturday night, Lady Gaga vomited on stage not once, twice, but at least four times mid-performance … and she just kept on singing and dancing throughout the entire puke fest. The 26-year-old singer was right in the middle of “Edge of Glory” when, with her back to the crowd, she leaned over and hurled onto the stage. In a video posted of her first stomach-churning moment, her backup dancer stopped and put his hand on her shoulder to comfort Gaga, but she went right back into the song’s choreography.

Gaga, who reportedly had been battling the flu, had a good sense of humor about it all after the video made the rounds online. “Was praying nobody saw but actually its quite a good laugh if u need one!” she tweeted along with the 27-second clip.

Gaga’s vomit-a-thon comes just a week after Justin Bieber also got sick onstage while kicking off the first night of his “Believe” tour. And just like Gaga, he also didn’t miss a step — although his voice could still be heard “singing” even though it was clear he was not. The two join a long list of performers who have been struck by nausea during a concert, including Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Kings of Leon singer Caleb Followill, although they all ran off the stage to get sick in private. In 2010, Taylor Momsen was so overcome by heat while performing that the leather-clad singer “almost threw up in the middle of the second song,” she told BBC Radio 1. “I was spewing in my mouth and swallowing it back down and I kept turning around and singing.”

Luckily for Gaga, she has three weeks off before her next Born This Way Ball gig in Mexico City. Let’s hope she stocks up on Pepto Bismol!
